Panda Chess Academy
Chess classes and camps · Mid West
About this provider
Beginner classes teach children who know little about chess how the pieces move, basic checkmates and how to play a full game, with all equipment provided. 1 The academy says in-person class sizes are capped, and a national master teaches and organises all classes. 5 Saturday rated tournaments with trophies for section winners complement the classes, and a current US Chess Federation membership is required to play in them. 8 Students can be moved mid-semester if another class fits better, and the academy says it prioritises safety, sportsmanship and focus. 13
